After checking with our pediatrician, alternative health practitioner, spiritual leader, letter carrier, and the queen of the elixir of life, CC, we decided it was time to start Felix on Coke. We went for the 16 oz size for the ease of drinkability. Did you know you can just screw the nipple right onto the bottle of Coke? Talk about convenient. Felix loves it, and has now requested Ho-Ho's and Ding Dongs to eat with his new beverage of choice.

While it's true that Felix's new Coke habit will help him fit in during his "awkward pre-teen and teen years," attention must also be paid to the delivery container of the Coke. Best to start with glass and move on to cans later, with plastic used only in emergencies. With careful attention, Felix may be ready in his late teens to join in the two most adult of Coke pleasures, the movie tub of Coke and the Twins souvenir cup.
