Easy Reader, That's My Name
Felix has a finely developed taste for books. Not just any old book will do at a particular time. And sometimes it takes looking at many books to find just the right one to read. At this particular reading session, Felix perused "Boo Hoo Baby", "Baby Cakes", and "Animal Babies" (_On the Farm_ not to be confused with _On Mountains_). Finally he settled on "Hands Hands Fingers Thumb". You really can't go wrong with a Dr. Suess book.
BTW, this lovely rocker is courtesy of Tom and Ann O'Toole, who graciously loaned it to us, along with a cute child's table and chairs for Felix's enjoyment. And if anyone is wondering, yes, he has already practiced standing on everything! We're honored to inherit furnishings that have been enjoyed by many an O'Toole child - including Tom, Philip and Rach. Thanks!
Lions and Tigers and Owls - oh my!
Ta Da!
At Felix's daycare there is a tree stump that is affectionately called the "Ta Da Stump". The kids like to stand on it and do little performances that usually end in...."Ta Da!!!" Felix has observed this, and has created his own version of "Ta Da" which includes standing on any surface that is higher than normal and exclaiming "Ta Da!" Corinth and Amanda were part of the audience at this particular "Ta Da" performance.
